  • Colonial Hockey to Shift to CCC Oversight for 2020-21 Season

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Board of Directors has announced that the CCC will begin to oversee women’s ice hockey as a championship sport beginning in 2020-21. The CCC will assume operation of a renamed Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC).

  • 2018-19 CHC Preseason Poll Released

    MARSHFIELD, Mass. – Reigning Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) Champions, Morrisville State College were selected to repeat in the 2018-19 Preseason Coaches Poll. Votes were compiled based on rankings submitted by league coaches. The Mustangs received six out of a possible seven first-place votes for 48 total points, edging out Endicott College (43 points) who received the other first-place votes. CHC newcomers, University of New England, rounded out the top three, receiving 28 total points in the rankings.

    GLOUCESTER, Mass. – The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) has announced the names of their All American Scholars. To be eligible for the honor a student athlete must achieve a minimum 3.6 G.P.A. and also participated in at least 40 percent of their team’s games during the 2017-18 season.

    NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Visiting Morrisville State College women's hockey capped off the 2017-18 season with an appearance in the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Division III tournament Saturday, falling to host Norwich University by a final 8-2 in Northfield.
